Bade Achche Lagte hain

Oh, I've been following this new soap on Sony Television off late and finally the Big day came for the leads Ram Kapoor and Priya Sharma (Saakshi Tanwar). I must say, I felt elated to see the way they showed a truly typical middle class wedding in a small Hall (Community center types) with AC not functioning properly, parents worried and praying that 'all goes well', mommy trying to book a Mercedes car to impress the guests, all the guests trying to cope up with the-not-so-pleasant situations yet enjoying each bit of it. Loved the way each bit was shot. kudos!

It was certainly a breather from all those lavish and rich Big fat weddings that most of us are tired seeing on all other soaps.. And the best part was to see the bride running here and there ensuring all arrangements are in place for her own wedding... lol. But, the fact is, even today, in most middle class families, girls have to take the maximum amount of responsibilities of their own wedding and support their parents as much as they can.

Adding to this fun, it was great to see Ram Kapoor in his best form ever. (I remember seeing him last in Kasamh Se with Prachi Desai and Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi as Jas Thukral.. I missed watching him for all this while)... But truly loved the way he portrayed his character of a rich business... he dealt with the whole situation so maturely and respected that how every middle class father dreams to have the best arrangements for his daughter's wedding and spends all his savings over the years to make this dream come true.

To cut it short, one of the best episodes, I've seen off late on a television soap. keep up the good work. Hope to see lot many interesting episodes.
